This ten day program provides a holistic approach to yoga and Ayurveda that allows for a deeper connection with the self. By studying the long-standing teachings of India, participants will gain a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of the body and mind. Additionally, this retreat offers a unique experience of learning the traditional practices of yoga and Ayurveda in the beautiful and diverse land of India. Through this journey, guests will be able to explore the beauty of the Indian culture and gain a deeper understanding of yoga.
The program will include traditional instruction in Hatha, Ashtanga-Vinyasa, Ayurveda, pranayama, yoga anatomy, meditation and yoga Nidra. During the course, participants will learn the basics of these practices, as well as gain an understanding of Indian philosophy and how the two intersect. In addition, the program is designed to be self-paced, allowing those without prior knowledge to absorb the teachings at their own pace.
Guests will have the chance to explore new places, while deepening and strengthening their yoga practice. During the retreat, we will introduce guests to some of India’s most precious and exotic locations. We will also offer an introduction to India's rich and diverse culture and history. The yoga program will include touring various monuments, religious sites, and of course, a few yoga classes outdoors.
