The retreat is led by experienced teachers of Mindful Self-Compassion, and is designed to provide participants with the necessary teachings and practices that lead to greater well-being. Through meditation, gentle stretching, self-inquiry, and other experiential activities; learn how to stay open, curious, and inspired during everyday moments of pain or difficulty.
Throughout the course of the retreat, we will journey through the core tools that underpin self-compassion. Understand how to apply the wisdom of self-kindness in all situations. Discover the benefits of a kind heart towards yourself and others. Engage in meaningful reflection of how to develop the courage to make wise and kind choices. All along the way, be met with understanding, support, and respect.
The offerings of the retreat includes structured periods of silent self-reflection, discussions of MSC principles, guided meditation, stretching, group interaction, breaks, and most importantly: self-care practices that can be put into practice even after the retreat is over. In this space, you are enCouraged to let go of whatever no longer serves you and start cultivating new tools to help you nurture and sustain a compassionate relationship with yourself.
