Zen Retreats are perfect for those looking to gain a deeper understanding and practice of meditation and yoga. Our 4-day retreat in the Dordogne region of France offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the stillness and silence of Zen. Our experienced teacher Valerie Meigetsu offers a peaceful, kind, safe and compassionate environment where you can explore the potential of life-changing practices.
Over the course of the weekend, we will guide you through a variety of daily yoga and meditation sessions and guided deep relaxations. In the mornings we will focus on the physical practice of yoga; learning to align the body, and breathe with each pose. Our yoga practice is slow and mindful and focusses on the original forms of Hatha and Zen. During the afternoons we will practice in depth meditation and mindfulness, offering you the space to take time away from the distractions of the outside world and explore the stillness within you. We will also take mindful walks or guided deep relaxations.
By the end of the weekend, you will leave with a greater understanding and daily practice of yoga and meditation that will continue to provide you with many physical and emotional benefits. We also offer ongoing support after the retreat through our website, which includes recordings of all of the retreat sessions.
