Enjoy six days of cooking, baking, touring, and tasting. Hands-on French cooking classes. Explore markets, visit producers, and be immersed in French cuisine. All skill levels are welcome. Seven nights' lodging included. You'll arrive on Saturday and depart the following Saturday after a culinary week you won't soon forget. This is a tour that is chef-created with home cooks in mind. This is more than just a cooking class, it is an immersion into French culture and cuisine.
Uzes, Gard, Southern France
You will be focusing on French cuisine during your holidays. You will go from simple to elaborate meals such as bread, pastries as well as desserts, and main dishes, highlighting the fresh and local produce of the south of France.
Daily breakfast will be served. All lunches during the days of your cooking classes including three to four dinners are included in the price. There will be one dinner at a selected gastronomic restaurant. Please let Let's Eat The World know in advance about any of your allergies or other food restrictions that they should be aware of.
The chefs of Let's Eat The World always try to cook with the seasons so their menus will vary slightly from month to month. They have access to so many wonderful markets in the South of France and they cannot wait to have you discover some of the classics and revisit recipes of Provencal and Mediterranean cuisine for the perfect Mediterranean cooking class.

This is a hands-on class where you will get to participate in the preparation of numerous French specialties. Some recipes will require working collectively both for their realization as well as limit unnecessary food waste but do not worry you will have plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty.
The examples of dishes you may do in class together are never fixed. All recipes are based on seasonal availability as well as time constraints and you. Your input is all part of the menu creation.
The program week is modifiable under the same conditions. This hopefully will be able to give you a little idea of what you can expect during your week in Uz?s without giving away all the surprises that await you.
Chef Eric Fraudeau is a French chef and food and wine enthusiast. He is the owner of Cookn With Class. He has over 40 years of professional culinary experience acquired both in France and abroad. Yetunde Oshodi-Fraudeau heads Sales and Marketing for Cook'n With Class. An avid cook, who also obtained a diploma in the culinary arts, she is a lover of travel and photography. After selling her successful Paris-based business, she now works full-time for both Paris and Uz?s schools.

Most of the participants chose to fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and take the train down to Avignon TGV where Lets Eat The World offers a scheduled pick up at 3:30 p.m. Avignon is about 45 minutes from Uz?s.
If you fly into Nice or Provence Airport (MRS) you will need to verify the transfer to arrive at Avignon TGV. Lets Eat The World would be happy to provide tips and will send you full pick-up details for the complimentary transfer from Avignon TGV once you have booked and closure to the arrival date. Please note that this is a grouped transfer.
You can also plan to arrive by train into Avignon TGV so you can benefit from the pickup. Trains run directly from CDG airport in Paris or if you are already in Paris, you would take the train from Gare de Lyon station.
